One MANS Opinion: Episode 120 – The Low Road

Mans is fired up this week due to some absurd Twitter drama percolating around the fantasy football industry. He sounds off on why so many people are choosing to copy/steal work instead of simply creating their own. He also reacts to the news of the day which includes the likely trading of Jimmy Garoppolo, the reported obesity of Leonard Fournette, and JK Dobbins's injury timeline. Then it is time for some fantasy football sleepers and Mans rolls through his list of “sneaky good” fantasy players who are going way too late in drafts currently. We also find out the one player that Jeff Mans is “all in” on now for the 2022 NFL and fantasy football season.

One MANS Opinion: Episode 119 – Happy Birthday

Jeff Mans does not celebrate birthdays, so he has decided to record another episode of One Mans Opinion instead. In this week’s episode, Jeff discusses the rise of popularity of 2 QB/SuperFLEX fantasy football league formats and diagnoses one major problem people have in these types of drafts. Mans breaks down the goals you should be setting for the quarterback position in 2QB/SuperFLEX leagues and gives you the math to back it up. He discusses his Scott Fish Bowl 12 draft as well which is a SuperFLEX league in which he drew the #4 overall selection. While the QB discussion is hot, he breaks down his latest QB rankings over at FantasyGuru.com including his ideal QB pairings in the multiple QB setup. This week we take a step back from the hard-core fantasy content and talk to one of the most exciting people in the fantasy sports industry, Sandro Anello. We ride with Sandro through his early years of playing pickup sports, being an only child, and growing up in an immigrant household. He gives us the background on how he fell in love with radio, his early career choices, and what made him give it all up to ride a bicycle across the country.  Jeff and Sandro talk about the first time they met at an industry event and how it was working together then and now. The guys give some behind-the-scenes stories about the Elite Sports show including the biggest on and off-air fights. Jeff Mans presents his annual “NFL team of the year” for 2022 and he has chosen the Miami Dolphins. Come in and listen to why he disagreed with the firing of Brian Flores after last season but upon inspection of the “new” system here in Miami, he has decided to buy in. Mans breaks down how the front office has made a number of good moves over the last four years to produce a high-quality roster that has produced many pro-bowl caliber players on both sides of the football. He breaks down what new head coach Mike McDaniel’s wide zone rushing attack and west coast pass patterns will do for Tua Tagovailoa, Chase Edmonds, and Jaylen Waddle. Miami made a lot of major upgrades this offseason including a completely rebuilt offensive line and the addition of one of the fastest and most productive wide receivers in the NFL in Tyreek Hill. One MANS Opinion: Episode 116 – League Winners

Jeff Mans is back and has brought with him a brand-new fantasy football metric that he created called “league winners.” With this formula, he can differentiate which NFL players are most responsible for helping their owners win a fantasy football championship. Mans tests this metric by going back over the last few seasons and giving out the top five fantasy football league winners for each season. He also has a lot to say about his time in Seattle Washington which includes some highs and lows from a four-day trip in the Northwest. Jeff also gives updates on the Tampa Bay tight end situation now that Rob Gronkowski has retired including which players profit the most from this news.

Jeff Mans is recording this episode live (on tape) from his vacation in Seattle!
