One MANS Opinion: Episode 100 – The Century Mark

For the 100th episode of One Mans Opinion, Jeff welcomes in his guys from FantasyGuru.com Armando Marsal, Tyler Buecher, and Russell Clay for a very special roundtable episode. The gang recaps the 2021 season by discussing the biggest surprises and disappointments of the year. They also go around the room in revealing their biggest hits and misses of the fantasy football, DFS, and NFL betting season. Mans leads a conversation of what he learned from this past football season including finding his niche in the NFL betting game. The boys look ahead to the 2022 season as well by discussing the players they are all-in on and those they will be avoiding. Finally, it is time to put it on tape as the group reveals their Super Bowl 56 predictions on which AFC and NFC teams will be squaring off and why. One MANS Opinion: Episode 99 – Incentives

2022 starts out with a bang and Jeff Mans is fresh off of a pair of fantasy football championships and celebrating here with you. Mans starts out the show with a few of his personal and professional new years resolutions which include previews of several new projects he is working on. He pays tribute to the man that gave him his big break in the radio business who is leaving for other opportunities by telling a few stories of how he was hired and nearly fired. Jeff answers some “Ask Mans Anything” questions ranging from DFS, sports betting, and the One Mans Opinion guestlist for 2022. He also goes deep into NFL player contracts to uncover which players are incentivized to hit certain financial bonuses and which need specific milestones in week 18. As always, the survivor pick of the week, best bet, and upset special wrap up an action-packed episode.

One MANS Opinion: Episode 98 – Hello 2022

The final episode of 2021 is live and as usual, Jeff Mans isn’t pulling any punches. Coming off of the “most difficult week in fantasy football history,” he reflects on how injuries, rest, and Covid-19 have changed all sports forever. Mans discusses some of the changes he is making both personally and professionally heading into 2022 including a major shift in how he does social media. Jeff reacts to the unexpected passing of the legendary John Madden and how one of his Christmas gifts this year shows just how big of an impact Madden had on all of our lives. Then he answers a bunch of “Ask Mans Anything” questions which leads to topics such as DFS lineup building, the future of the 49ers backfield, the most important part of high stakes leagues, and the future of the sport of football. In the spirit of the holiday season, Jeff Mans reveals why exactly he loves Christmas so much. He talks about how his parents would always make the most of the holidays despite not having that much to celebrate with. You’ll also uncover some Mans' Family traditions in this episode and why a single Teddy Bear has such deep meaning in his life. There is plenty of football talk as well as Mans recaps a wild week 15 across the NFL including how five of his own playoff teams got bounced by the same duo of players. As always, Jeff provides his week 16 fantasy football starts and sits which comes with some strong advice on just who we can trust over these final few weeks of the season. It has already been a wild week across the NFL and Jeff Mans is here to help you through it all. With the Fantasy Football playoffs upon us, Mans reviews how his seasonal league teams have done this year including the worst playoff knockout he has ever suffered. He recaps week 14 in daily fantasy and explains how his core four was positive despite only one of the four players exceeding expectations. Jeff also gets into why Urban Meyer is out of his league at the NFL level and why defense/special teams should be abolished in most forms of fantasy football. He is just a guy that has had four consecutive winning seasons of betting on the NFL and is in the middle of a legendary heater. Mans shares his strategies on how to make money betting on the NFL and how to avoid going bust like so many new sports bettors. Jeff recaps a super chalky week in fantasy football while continuing to strategize how seasonal fantasy, daily fantasy, and sports betting all play off of one another. As the playoffs approach, Mans gives out his week 14 starts and sits along with a host of injury news from around the NFL. As always, he finishes the show with his survivor pick, a surprising team that he hasn’t used yet and the best bet and upset of the week.

Jeff Mans is back for another solo episode as he discusses the ever-changing landscape of sports, fantasy sports, and sports betting. He is tired of pro-athletes getting paid more money every year to do less work while every sports fan has to pay the freight. This leads to a rant in which he discusses the start of his fantasy sports career and some of the tough decisions he has had to make along the way. There are some changes taking place at Elite Sports Betting too which Mans outlines and gives context to as well. After a huge week 12, he looks ahead to the starts and sits across fantasy football this week including a pair of very underrated running backs. For those still in Survivor contests, Mans gives out his “closer” team of the week while handing out the best bet and upset of week 13 as well.

One MANS Opinion: Episode 93 – Giving Thanks

The great Ray Flowers joins Jeff Mans on this special Thanksgiving edition of One Mans Opinion. With so much negativity in the world today, the guys decided to stay positive and discuss some of the things that make them happy in this chaotic world. They also share their fondest Thanksgiving memories where we see the drastic difference between Jeff & Ray’s upbringing. Eventually, the boys get to recapping the dud that was week 11 in fantasy football and specifically in DFS. Since they only did a Core 4 on the radio this week, Mans gives the podcast listeners a treat with his main DFS lineup for the Thanksgiving Day slate. Ray helps us make some tough fantasy football lineup decisions during the start/sit segment which develops into an interesting comparison between two Los Angeles Rams receivers. The duo closes the show as always with their favorite survivor pick of the week, the best bet and the most likely upset of week 12.

A complete freestyle episode comes your way this week as Jeff Mans simply presses the RECORD button and begins the show. He recaps a frantic week 10 in the NFL including whether or not he is buying the Chiefs' resurgence and/or the Rams' demise moving forward. Mans also reveals some of the health issues that he is going through currently and wants everybody to know that he is OK and ready for whatever life throws at him. Then we look ahead to week 11 in fantasy football by discussing this week's starts and sits which feature quite a few names that may surprise you on both sides. Finally, Jeff tries to keep the unbeaten Survivor picks going by focusing on a team that he says he would “never use again” while also giving out his favorite bet and upset of the week.
