One MANS Opinion: Episode 219 – Contract Year Players

The first order of business this week is to cover all of the NFL players who were cut, placed on PUP, and/or put on injured reserve this week. There are a lot of players that have gained and lost value as a result, and Jeff Mans breaks down each one line by line to make sure we are covered. Mans also dives into the updated ADP across fantasy football and goes round by round, selecting his favorite players and backup options. He puts together a very attainable version of his perfect fantasy football team in the process. He also talks about his quick trip to Las Vegas last weekend to enter the Circa Millions and Survivor contests and his plans for the money after taking down the top prize this year. One MANS Opinion: Episode 218 – Super Late Round Targets

Draft season is entirely upon us, and Jeff Mans is here to make it go as smoothly as possible. The first order of business this week is addressing the ongoing holdouts of superstar wide receivers CeeDee Lamb and Ja’Marr Chase. Is it time to drop these two premium players in our rankings? Mans answers that question directly and questions whether lowering any player “a few spots” actually matters. Then, it is time to discuss some of the players that are moving up in his rankings as a result of a strong training camp, preseason showing, or matter of circumstance. The episode everyone was waiting for has finally arrived! The “code word” player this year is a late-round wide receiver who finds himself in one of the most profitable spots in the NFL, yet he still holds an ADP of 120+. There is so much you can learn by studying the coaching styles, personnel groupings, pace of play, play call tendencies, and play design of NFL head coaches and coordinators. This takes a lot of time and effort to break down, and fortunately, there is one man who does it all for us, and that is Jeff Mans. This week, Mans takes out his notes for all 16 NFC teams and breaks them down from a real-life and fantasy point of view. He fully intended to do all 32 NFL teams this week, but there is SO MUCH information that he was only able to get to half of them in this episode. One MANS Opinion: Episode 211 – 2024 Fantasy Football Rankings

It's a huge episode this week, and Jeff Mans tackles several very important topics. First off, Mans gives a breakdown of his first few picks of the Scott Fish Bowl 14 league draft, including a pair of really tough decisions between premium players on the round 1-2 turn. That decision actually leads to a bigger conversation regarding Jets QB Aaron Rodgers and his tendency to throw super short TD passes. This inspired Mans to do a research project on all 32 NFL starting QBs and their average depth per TD pass. These results were pretty surprising and helped us make decisions regarding some elite-caliber wide receivers this season. Jeff Mans is back, and as promised, he delivers an extended episode this week all about his surprise NFL team of the 2024 season. After a quick recap of his vacation that included trips to Dodgers Stadium and PetCo Park in southern California, he dives right into the criteria for this year's surprise team. First, he lists teams that were under consideration for this year's title, including a couple of obvious choices and a pair of teams that were just a step behind. Mans then reviews his track record of the last four teams he has profiled in this space and discusses how each of them improved from the year before, and two even made extended playoff runs. This episode is full of data points that will surprise and even amaze the majority of listeners, as nobody seems to have noticed just how good this NFL team was last year, nor the additions they have made. As always, Jeff goes from the top of the organization all of the way down and even projects all 17 regular season games in order to stamp his endorsement.
